This spaghetti bolognaise sauce has a rich flavour and is great comfort food.
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 425 g canned tomato soup
- 425 g canned tomatoes
- 2 tbs tomato paste
- 6 button mushrooms chopped
- 1 zucchini chopped
- 1 brown onion chopped
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1 tbs oil
- 2 tbs red wine
- 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 packet spaghetti
Method

Step 1In a large saucepan put oil, garlic and onions.

Step 2Add mince and cook till meat is brown, stirring to ensure all mince is cooked.

Step 3Add tomato soup, tomato paste, mushrooms and zucchini. Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often.

Step 4Apart from the pasta, add all other ingredients, then simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5Place spaghetti/pasta in pot of boiling water and cook till tender.

Step 6Place spaghetti in a bowl and put sauce on top. Serve.
