So simple and easy using basic ingredients of mashed potato, garlic and rosemary, and so tasty!
Ingredients
- 4 potato boiled medium
- 2 tbs butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbs dried breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- 2 tbs fresh rosemary chopped
- 1/2 cup cream
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 200C.

Step 2Peel potatoes, roughly chop and place in saucepan to boil.

Step 3When cooked through, drain water and mash the potatoes, adding 1/2 the butter and the milk. Add salt to taste if required. Mix to a nice creamy consistency.

Step 4Grease a deep dish with the remaining butter and roughly spread a teaspoon of the minced garlic around the dish. Add the breadcrumbs and shake dish to cover base and sides. Spoon mashed potato into dish and spread evenly. Rough up the top with a fork.

Step 5Mix remaining minced garlic with the cream and rosemary and pour evenly over the top.

Step 6Cook in oven for 20-30 minutes until golden brown. Cut and serve in wedges or just scoop out!
Recipe Notes
Use potatoes suitable for boiling and mashing. You can add more milk or butter to mash, or use cream instead. You could use parsley or chives instead of rosemary for a different flavour.
