A savoury nibble to eat with drinks.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 150 g mature cheddar cheese cubed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp parmesan
- 85 g butter cut into pieces
- 0.125 g cayenne pepper
- 0.125 g paprika
- 1 1/2 tbs milk
Method

Step 1In a food processor, pulse together flour, cheddar, Parmesan, salt, butter and cayenne until very coarse meal forms.

Step 2Add milk and pulse until the dough comes together in a ball, add extra milk if needed.

Step 3Roll or cut into sticks and place on ungreased trays lined with baking paper.

Step 4Bake at 180C for about 5 minutes or until golden brown, then turn and bake other side until golden brown also.

Step 5Store in an airtight container when completely dry.
