Home-made prawn toast.
Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp cornflour
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 100 g prawns raw
- 1 shallots chopped
- 1 tbs egg whites
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 4 slices bread thick
Method

Step 1Blend all ingredients together (except the bread).

Step 2Continue to blend until mixture is light and fluffy (similar texture to a mousse).

Step 3Cut the crusts off the bread and spread with the mixture.

Step 4Lightly press sesame seeds into the mixture and cut into quarters (in triangles).

Step 5Fry in a pan with a little oil, browning bread lightly on each side.

Step 6Remove and place on paper towel to drain.
