Lovely, sweet beef casserole for a hearty winter meal.
Ingredients
- 500 g beef steak, diced
- 1 onion chopped
- 1/2 cup canned beans
- 225 g canned pineapple reserve liquid
- 400 g canned diced tomato
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 2 tbs brown sugar
- 1 tbs cornflour
Method

Step 1Combine all ingredients, except for the cornflour and water.

Step 2Bake at 180C for 1½ hours, or alternatively, bake in slow cooker for 4-5 hours.

Step 3Thicken with cornflour and water mixture.

Step 4Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
