Ingredients

  • 3 egg
  • 3 cup plain flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.125 tsp salt
  • 1 cup soft butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250 g milk chocolate chips
  • 250 g dark chocolate chips

Method

  • Step 1
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Step 2
    Combine butter, white sugar and brown sugar in another large bowl and beat with a mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Step 3
    Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
  • Step 4
    Add flour mixture gradually to butter mixture, beating well after each addition.
  • Step 5
    Fold in chocolate chips and chill for 2 hours.
  • Step 6
    Place teaspoons of mixture onto greased oven trays.
  • Step 7
    Place in preheated oven at 170C and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
