Ingredients

  • 20 g butter
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 425 g canned tuna drained
  • 1/4 cup sultanas
  • 2 tbs toasted slivered almonds
  • 3 egg
  • 1/2 cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbs plain flour
  • 1/2 cup tasty cheese grated
  • 3/4 cup spirals pasta shapes cooked

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Step 2
    Lightly grease a 20 cm square baking dish.
  • Step 3
    Melt butter in a large frying pan on medium. Sauté onions and curry powder for 3-4 minutes until softened.

    Stir through tuna, sultanas and almonds. Cook for 1 minute until flavour mixes through.
  • Step 5
    Transfer tuna mixture to baking dish. Stir in the pasta.
  • Step 6
    In a jug, beat eggs, cream, milk and flour together, season to taste, and pour over tuna mix. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Step 7
    Bake for 25-30 minutes until set and lightly browned. Serve with salad.

Recipe Notes

Salmon could be used if desired.
