Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup custard powder
  • 1 1/2 cup self-raising flour
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 125 g butter softened
  • 3 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  • Step 1
    Line patty pans with paper cases.
  • Step 2
    Sift dry ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Combine all ingredients with electric mixer and beat until changed colour.

  • Step 4
    Fill patty cases just over half full with mixture.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 180C for 15-18 minutes.

Cup cakes can be frozen without being iced.
