Ingredients

  • 200 g plain biscuits
  • 200 g butter
  • 400 g condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tbs golden syrup
  • 125 g dark chocolate

Method

  • Step 1
    Line a 20 cm x 30 cm slice pan with baking paper.
  • Step 2
    Crush biscuits finely, add 170 g of the butter which has been melted, mix well and press into bottom of pan.
  • Step 3
    Place condensed milk, peanut butter and golden syrup into saucepan and stir over low heat until mixture boils and thickens slightly.

  • Step 4
    Pour over base and bake at 180C for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Allow to cool. Melt chocolate with remaining butter and spread over slice. Refrigerate until set, cut into slices.

Recipe Notes

Crunchy peanut butter can be used in place of smooth.
