A very poular recipe I came up with 30 years ago while working on the optic fibre program across the Nullabor in the camps.
Ingredients
- 1 kg beef mince
- 2 egg
- 1 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 3 tbs plum sauce
- 3 tbs barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup French onion soup mix
- 1/4 cup fruit chutney
- 3 tbs tomato sauce
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 tbs mixed herbs
- 2 tbs plain flour
Method

Step 1Mix all ingredients together, shape into patties.

Step 2Roll in flour.

Step 3Cook on barbeque or fry in a pan.

Step 4Serve rissoles in a fairly thick gravy.
