If you like caramelised bananas and coconut you will love this dessert.
Ingredients
- 50 g butter
- 3 tbs brown sugar
- 4 banana sliced
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
Method

Step 1Melt butter and brown sugar in a large glass dish, flan dish will do, then add sliced bananas. This is also the dish which you cook the pie in. The butter and brown sugar make the base.

Step 2Mix together flour, sugar, coconut, then add the milk and egg in a mixing bowl.

Step 3Pour over sliced bananas, butter and sugar.

Step 4Bake at a 180C for 35-45 minutes until golden brown.
Recipe Notes
Absolutely delicious with ice cream, custard or whipped cream.
