Ingredients

  • 50 g butter
  • 3 tbs brown sugar
  • 4 banana sliced
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Method

  • Step 1
    Melt butter and brown sugar in a large glass dish, flan dish will do, then add sliced bananas. This is also the dish which you cook the pie in. The butter and brown sugar make the base.
  • Step 2
    Mix together flour, sugar, coconut, then add the milk and egg in a mixing bowl.
  • Step 3
    Pour over sliced bananas, butter and sugar.
  • Step 4
    Bake at a 180C for 35-45 minutes until golden brown.
Recipe Notes
Absolutely delicious with ice cream, custard or whipped cream.
