Ingredients

  • 250 g English shortbread
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 100 g butter melted
  • 800 g canned apple

Method

  • Step 1
    Place biscuits in blender until they resemble fine breadcrumbs.
  • Step 2
    Add brown sugar and mix well. Add melted butter and mix thoroughly.
  • Step 3
    Place apples in ovenproof dish, sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Step 4
    Add crumble mixture and bake at 180C for approximately 25 minutes or until brown.

  • 1 baking dish
