An authentic Kiwi Afghan biscuit recipe that makes the most delicious biscuits. These will keep for several days in an airtight container.
Ingredients
- 200 g butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups plain flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 2 cups Kellogg's Cornflakes crushed
- 200 g milk chocolate melts
- 1 cup walnuts *to decorate
Method

Step 1Combine softened butter and sugar and beat to a cream.

Step 2Add flour, cocoa, and cornflakes. Mix well.

Step 3Place golf ball size portions onto baking paper on an oven tray, pressing lightly in the centre and bake for approximately 15 minutes at 180C.

Step 4Allow to cool. Melt the chocolate and spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of chocolate onto the top of each biscuit.

Step 5Place a walnut into the melted chocolate.
