Easy to cook and its quick. This is the best way to cook rice.
Ingredients
- 2 cup rice washed
- 2 cup water
- 1 pinch salt optional
Method

Step 1Boil water in a non-stick pan. Add rice and allow to boil for 4-5 minutes. Stir and reduce heat to low.

Step 2Cover and leave for 8 minutes. Do not lift the lid.

Step 3Rinse, if desired.
Recipe Notes
I prefer plain or jasmine rice. You may need to add a little more water depending on how you like your rice, cooking time will also depend on type of rice used. I used this for fried rice so I did cook a little less.
