What a decadent combination of flavours.
Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbs golden syrup
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 1/4 cups plain flour
- 1/4 cup white choc bits
- 1/2 cup dry roasted macadamias chopped
- 1 tbs water
- 1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
Method

Step 1Preheat oven 180C.

Step 2Cream together butter, sugar, salt, vanilla and golden syrup.

Step 3Sift in flour and mix.

Step 4Add bicarbonate of soda to water then add to mix.

Step 5Add choc bits and nuts and mix well.

Step 6Roll teaspoonfuls into balls then slightly flatten when placed on the tray.

Step 7Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 8Leave to cool on tray.
