I love making homemade burgers and I created this recipe by just throwing ingredients into the bowl and mixing. I think it's the best recipe I've created so far!
Ingredients
- 500 g turkey mince
- 3/4 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 1/2 zucchini grated
- 1 carrot grated medium
- 1 portobello mushrooms diced
- 2 spring onion thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1 egg
- 2 tbs sweet chilli sauce
- 3 tbs relish
- 1 tbs lemon juice
Method

Step 1Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined.

Step 2Shape into 6 burgers and chill for ½ hour.

Step 3Cook under grill for 5-7 minutes each side or until cooked through.

Step 4Serve on bread rolls with lettuce and mashed avocado, or with chips and green salad.
Recipe Notes
I prefer to use chilli relish. I've also served them with boiled chat potatoes and steamed vegetables and added more chilli relish on top.
