I love making homemade burgers and I created this recipe by just throwing ingredients into the bowl and mixing. I think it's the best recipe I've created so far! - AlannaBanana

Ingredients

  • 500 g turkey mince
  • 3/4 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 zucchini grated
  • 1 carrot grated medium
  • 1 portobello mushrooms diced
  • 2 spring onion thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbs sweet chilli sauce
  • 3 tbs relish
  • 1 tbs lemon juice

Method

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  • Step 2
    Shape into 6 burgers and chill for ½ hour.
  • Step 3
    Cook under grill for 5-7 minutes each side or until cooked through.
  • Step 4
    Serve on bread rolls with lettuce and mashed avocado, or with chips and green salad.
Recipe Notes
I prefer to use chilli relish. I've also served them with boiled chat potatoes and steamed vegetables and added more chilli relish on top.
