Recipe Notes
This chilli sauce is a family favourite which is used as a dipping sauce for crab and fish cakes but goes with everything. Leftovers are used as a base for a chicken curry. I use Beerenburg Chilli relish or any commercial sweet chilli sauce. This is a very much personal taste sauce, add your level of sweetness. I have used honey, orange juice, apricot nectar, maple syrup. You want to balance the citrus and the sweet for your palate. You can use chill relish.
