Delicious chicken burgers with a Thai flavour.
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken mince
- 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs lime juice
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup coriander chopped
- 3 spring onion thinly sliced
- 2 tbs oil
- 6 bread roll
- 1 avocado large
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1 carrot grated
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise *to serve
- 2 tbs Sweet chilli sauce
Method

Step 1In a bowl or food processor, combine chicken, half of the breadcrumbs, soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, lime juice, egg, coriander and shallots.

Step 2Shape mixture into burger patties and lightly roll in remaining breadcrumbs.

Step 3Cover and place in refrigerator for at least one hour if time permits.

Step 4Heat oil in large frypan, then fry patties until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 5Serve on bread rolls with mixed lettuce leaves, carrot and sliced avocado, topped with a dollop of mayonnaise or sour cream.
Recipe Notes
These chicken patties would also be lovely served with a simple salad, or shaped into meatballs and served with a dipping sauce instead.
