My teenage sons love these sausage rolls as they have tandoori paste in them. A great after school snack when they come home starving.
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 2 tbs onion flakes
- 4 tbs tikka masala Indian curry paste
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 1 egg beaten
- 4 tsp poppy seeds
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 200C.

Step 2Combine beef mince, onion flakes, curry paste and salt and pepper, mix thoroughly.

Step 3Cut pastry sheet in half lengthways, place a quarter of the mince mixture down long edge of each piece.

Step 4Brush pasty with egg and roll up to enclose.

Step 5Brush each roll with egg, sprinkle with poppy seeds and place on a baking paper-lined tray.

Step 6Cut each roll into 4 cm pieces, bake for 25 minutes until sausage rolls are crisp and golden.

Step 7Allow to cool slightly before serving.
