Very easily and quickly, prepared dish. If you don't have a tagine, a tightly fitted lid casserole dish will work well.
Ingredients
- 4 thick pork cutlets
- 2 onions large sliced
- 2 apples sliced
- 1 tbs ras el hanout
- 1 tsp ground cumin *optional
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 1 tbs oil
Method

Step 1In casserole dish, heat oil, add onions stirring constantly until they start to soften and brown.

Step 2Top with pork cutlets, and season to taste.

Step 3Cover with apples and sprinkle liberally with spices, to taste.

Step 4Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Step 5Cover, simmer gently for approximately 40-60 minutes, or until pork is tender. It should be just about falling off the bone.
