Ingredients

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 1 onion diced large
  • 2 tsp garlic minced
  • 800 g canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 zucchini chopped small
  • 1/2 green capsicum chopped
  • 6 mushrooms finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbs mixed dried herbs
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste

Method

  • Step 1
    Spray a non stick pan with some spray oil and fry up the onion, mushrooms, garlic, zucchini and capsicum until tender.
  • Step 2
    Add the meat, brown and break up any lumps.
  • Step 3
    Add the salt, pepper, tomatoes and sauces. Stir well and allow to simmer until sauce has reduced slightly.
  • Step 4
    Add herbs and serve with cooked pasta and grated tasty or parmesan cheese.

Equipment

  • 1 frying pan
Recipe Notes
You could use 1/2 cup fresh herbs instead of dry herbs.
