Succulent, fall off the bone meat with delicious vegetables.
Ingredients
- 2 kg chuck beef steak. roasted
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1 cup water
- 3 carrots chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 potatoes large quartered
- 1 celery stalk chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced optional
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce optional
Method

Step 1Brown beef on all sides in large frypan.

Step 2Place in slow cooker and add the water and soup mix.

Step 3Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, according to the size of the meat.

Step 4Add vegetables halfway through cooking.

Step 5Thicken gravy if desired.

Recipe Notes
Vegetable amounts are all optional.
The French onion soup and water can be replaced with beef broth, or beef stock, or stock cubes and water if you'd prefer.
The vegetables can be added at the beginning if it is inconvenient to add halfway through, but make the pieces larger, so they don't go too soft.
