Really easy aromatic spare ribs recipe. Vary the quantities to suit. I use Pink Lady apples because they are firm and slightly acidic as well as sweet. - Kathysown

Recipe Notes
Serving with a green vegetable or a green salad is nice - curly endive is nice. I make this without added salt. Maille mustard works well, and it contains salt anyway. The apples are best slightly underripe and you can use a similar firm eating apple to Pink Lady. Use 4 small or 3 large Pink Lady apples. Spare ribs are fatty but this recipe uses a relatively small amount per person. Good on a cold wintry day.
