A moist cake baked in the slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 1/3 cup caster sugar
- 1/3 cup Greek yoghurt
- 1 egg
- 2 bananas ripe
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
- 1 cup water
Method

Step 1Pour water into the base of a slow cooker. Grease and line a 20cm cake tin.

Step 2Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg, vanilla, bananas and yoghurt. Mix until smooth.

Step 3Gradually mix in flour, stirring until smooth.

Step 4Spread batter into cake tin, carefully lower into slow cooker.

Step 5Place lid on slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours.

Step 6Cake is cooked when a bamboo skewer inserted into the middle come out clean.
Recipe Notes
Recipe can be made without the cake tin by omitting water and greasing and lining the slow cooker.
