Ingredients

  • 100g butter
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar
  • 1/3 cup Greek yoghurt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 bananas ripe
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 cup water

Method

  • Step 1
    Pour water into the base of a slow cooker. Grease and line a 20cm cake tin.

    Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg, vanilla, bananas and yoghurt. Mix until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Gradually mix in flour, stirring until smooth.
  • Step 4
    Spread batter into cake tin, carefully lower into slow cooker.
  • Step 5
    Place lid on slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Step 6
    Cake is cooked when a bamboo skewer inserted into the middle come out clean.
Recipe Notes

Recipe can be made without the cake tin by omitting water and greasing and lining the slow cooker.
