These noodles with sauce should be served immediately after cooking.
Ingredients
- 300 g noodles
- 2 tsp crushed garlic
- 1 ginger sliced small
- 2 cup mixed vegetables
- 2 cups chicken stock (liquid)
- 1 tbs oil
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 50 ml water
Method

Step 1Blanch noodles in hot water and set aside on a platter.

Step 2Heat oil, and fry ginger and garlic until slightly brown.

Step 3Add meat and vegetables, and stir fry for about 5 minutes.

Step 4Add stock, seasoning and bring to boil, until meat is done.

Step 5Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 6Combine cornflour with water, add to mixture and stir in.

Step 7When sauce starts to thicken slightly, quickly remove from heat and pour over the noodles.

Step 8Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
Use any stock. Add meat, seafood and vegetables of choice. Vegetarians could prepare this dish using only vegetables and vegetable stock. I like to use mushrooms and green leafy vegetables in this dish, add them just before adding the cornstarch mixture. Sometimes I add a beaten egg to the sauce when it comes to the boil and stir with a fork.
