Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 400 g salmon fillet cubed
  • 2 red onion cut into wedges
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 tbs sesame seeds

Method

  • Step 1
    Combine soy sauce and sugar.
  • Step 2
    Thread an onion wedge onto skewer, followed by three or four pieces of salmon, finishing off with another onion wedge.
  • Step 3
    Heat and lightly oil BBQ plate or grill pan.
  • Step 4
    Brush kebabs with sauce and cook for approximately 10 minutes or until tender. Brush regularly with sauce.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  • 8 bamboo skewers
  • 1 barbecue
  • 1 pastry brush
