Delicious and filling.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ricotta
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 egg beaten
Sauce
- 3 tbs butter
- 2 garlic clove crushed
- 1/2 tbs fresh mixed herbs
- 1 cup thickened cream
Method

Step 1Mix the ricotta and flour together.

Step 2Add egg and combine to form a dough. Add extra flour or water, if needed.

Step 3Divide the mixture into 3.

Step 4Roll one lot of mixture into a sausage shape approximately 1.5 cm thick, and then cut it into 2 cm long pieces.

Step 5Roll each individual piece into an oval shape. Mark with a fork, if desired.

Step 6Repeat for remaining dough.

Step 7Boil gnocchi in salted water. Gnocchi will rise when cooked. Drain and set aside.

Step 8In a pan, heat the butter and garlic.

Step 9Add the gnocchi and stir.

Step 10Add the herbs.

Step 11Add the cream and stir.

Step 12Add salt and pepper, if desired.

Step 13Serve hot.
