If you like porridge you will love this.
Ingredients
- 2 cup milk
- 1 cup quinoa rinsed
- 0.125 tsp cinnamon sugar
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 3 tbs light brown sugar
Method

Step 1Bring milk to the boil in a small saucepan.

Step 2Add quinoa and return to the boil.

Step 3Reduce the heat to low and simmer covered for approximately 15 minutes, or until ¾ of the milk has been absorbed.

Step 4Stir in sugar and cinnamon.

Step 5Cook covered for approximately 8 minutes until almost all the milk has been absorbed.

Step 6Stir in berries and cook for 30 seconds.

Step 7Serve with additional berries.
Recipe Notes
This is one of my favourite breakfasts. I also have it for lunch after I go for a run. I use soy milk but any milk can be used. You can add extra milk, cinnamon or sugar if desired. Blueberries can be used.
