A microwave chocolate self-saucing pudding.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk
- 100 g butter melted
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 2 tbs cocoa
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Sauce
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 2 cups hot water
- 2 tbs cocoa
Method

Step 1Combine the pudding ingredients, mix well.

Step 2Pour into microwave safe casserole dish.

Step 3Sprinkle with sugar.

Step 4Gently pour hot water over.

Step 5Sprinkle with cocoa.

Step 6Cook on high for 6½ minutes uncovered in microwave.

Recipe Notes
The cooking time is for a 700W microwave.
I have also added ½ cup of chocolate chips to the mix (not the sauce) and it turned out yummy as well.
It tastes great with fresh cream, custard or ice cream.
