A delicious pork stew flavoured with mustard and just a touch of honey.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs oil
- 1 kg scotch pork fillet diced
- 20 g butter
- 1 onion large sliced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 250 g button mushrooms
- 1 tbs plain flour
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup Massel* Chicken Style Liquid Stock
- 2 tbs wholegrain mustard
- 2 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Method

Step 1Heat oil in frypan and brown pork in batches on high. Transfer to large casserole dish.

Step 2Add butter to pan and cook onion and garlic until soft. Add mushrooms and cook 1 minute. Stir in flour, cook 1 minute, then gradually add juice and stock stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

Step 3Add remaining ingredients and then pour over pork. Cover and bake in moderate oven (180C) for 45 minutes or until pork is tender.
