Ingredients

  • 4 cup milk
  • 1 cup fine polenta
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar *to taste
  • 1/2 cup plain yoghurt *to taste

Method

  • Step 1
    Heat milk over medium heat until it is almost boiling.
  • Step 2
    Gradually whisk in the polenta and stir for 5 minutes or until the porridge starts to thicken. Remove from heat.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the sugar and spoon into bowls.
  • Step 4
    Top with yoghurt of choice.
Recipe Notes
Make sure you take it off the heat as soon as it starts to thicken as it will thicken further on standing. Sugar and yoghurt quantities are really according to taste however you will most likely find that some sugar is necessary.
