Ingredients

  • 3 cup grapefruit juice
  • 3 cup mixed berries fresh
  • 2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup vodka optional

Method

  • Step 1
    Pour the grapefruit juice, berries, sugar, and alcohol into a blender.
  • Step 2
    Blend for 2-3 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  • Step 3
    Pour the mixture into a container, and freeze until solid, 3 to 4 hours.
  • Step 4
    Stir the sorbet to break up the ice crystals to a slushy consistency and return to freezer until firm, approximately 3 hours, and store in a covered container until required.
  • Step 5
    To serve, scoop into tall glass, pour vodka or rum over and add a mint sprig.

Recipe Notes
Use fresh or frozen berries and vodka or white rum.
