Passionfruit and condensed milk with a coconut base. Super yummy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup coconut
- 125 g butter melted
- 395 ml condensed milk
- 1 can passionfruit pulp
- 1/2 lemon juiced
Method

Step 1Mix flour, sugar and coconut together.

Step 2Add melted butter and mix well.

Step 3Press mixture into a 20cm x 30cm slice tin lined with baking paper.

Step 4Bake at 170C for 13 minutes.

Step 5Remove from oven and pat down gently with the back of a spoon to make level.

Step 6Spread combined condensed milk, passionfruit and lemon juice over cooked base and return to oven for 15 minutes.
Recipe Notes
You can use a bit less sugar if desired.
Editor's note: to make passionfruit sauce like the Best Recipes team, you'll need: 4 passionfruit, 1/2 cup caster sugar and 1/2 cup water.
To make the sauce: place the passionfruit pulp, sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally or until mixture comes to the boil. Cook for 4-5 minutes, or until thickened slightly. Set aside and allow to cool. Spoon over slice when ready to serve.
