Strawberries and cream - how much more wicked can you get!
Ingredients
- 500 g fresh strawberries hulled quartered
- 60 ml orange juice pulp removed
- 2 tbs icing sugar mixture
- 2 tbs orange liqueur
- 300 ml thickened cream
Method

Step 1Combine strawberries, juice, icing sugar and liqueur in a bowl, cover, refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 2Beat the cream with electric mixer until soft peaks form.

Step 3Divide half the strawberry mixture among four ¾ cup serving glasses.

Step 4Divide half the cream between the glasses.

Step 5Repeat layering with the remaining strawberries and cream.
Recipe Notes
A lovely variation is to crumble some meringue nests in with the cream as well - it's even more wicked made in this way and is similar to the English classic dessert known as Eton Mess(only the strawberries aren't crushed).
