These are just fabulous to take anywhere.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf white bread
- 1 loaf multigrain bread
Filling
- 3 cup cooked chicken chopped
- 2 celery stick diced
- 3 tbs sour cream
- 4 tbs mayonnaise
- 0.6 cup almonds chopped
Method

Step 1Combine the filling ingredients in a large bowl.

Step 2Butter the white bread and spread on a layer of filling.

Step 3Top with a slice of multigrain bread, more filling and finish with a slice of white bread.

Step 4With an electric knife, cut all the crusts off and cut into 6 fingers.
Recipe Notes
I usually use 2 loaves of white bread and one multigrain. Make sure they are square slices. These sandwiches are so easy and so popular I actually got sick of making them and gave the recipe to everyone who wanted to make them. They are very nice and you can add more or less of anything to get the desired consistency. Now I go and enjoy them at other peoples places.
