My dad made this for my 21st birthday to cover my birthday cake. It's the best mousse I've ever had. He makes it at work too and all the ladies love it! - cakecook

Prevent your screen from going dark

Ingredients

  • 500 g dark cooking chocolate
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp caster sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 500 ml thickened cream
  • 1 tbs brandy

Method

  • Step 1
    Melt chocolate, milk and brandy together (i just do it in microwave) Pour into a large bowl
  • Step 2
    Whip 3 egg yolks and sugar together, fold into chocolate mix
  • Step 3
    Whip 3 egg whites. Fold into chocolate mix
  • Step 4
    Whip cream then fold into chocolate mix. Cover and store in fridge until set.
Recipe Notes
I like to use Cadbury cooking chocolate.
