Ingredients

  • 3 onions sliced
  • 1 garlic sliced
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 2 tbs marsala
  • 750 g mushrooms
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 3 tbs sour cream
  • 500 g pasta

Method

  • Step 1
    Heat oil and butter in warmed frypan.
  • Step 2
    Add onions and garlic and cook until soft. Add marsala and allow to cook for 10-15 minutes.
    Mushroom Stroganoff
  • Step 3
    Add mushrooms, cook until soft, then add paprika and tomato paste.
  • Step 4
    Cook pasta until al dente.
  • Step 5
    Just before serving, fold through sour cream.
  • Step 6
    Serve mushroom sauce over pasta.

  • 1 saucepan
Recipe Notes

Use mixed mushrooms and pasta of choice.
