Full-flavoured stroganoff without meat.
Ingredients
- 3 onions sliced
- 1 garlic sliced
- 1 tbs oil
- 1 tbs butter
- 2 tbs marsala
- 750 g mushrooms
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbs tomato paste
- 3 tbs sour cream
- 500 g pasta
Method

Step 1Heat oil and butter in warmed frypan.

Step 2Add onions and garlic and cook until soft. Add marsala and allow to cook for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3Add mushrooms, cook until soft, then add paprika and tomato paste.

Step 4Cook pasta until al dente.

Step 5Just before serving, fold through sour cream.

Step 6Serve mushroom sauce over pasta.
