Quick and easy lemonade scones are a delicious afternoon treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cup self-raising flour
- 2 tbs icing sugar
- 3/4 cup thickened cream
- 1/2 cup lemonade
- 1/4 cup milk to coat
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 200C or 180C fan forced.

Step 2Combine all ingredients, apart from the milk, in a mixing bowl.

Step 3When all ingredients are well mixed, roll out on a floured board.

Step 4Cut out the scones with a scone cutter and brush milk lightly on top of scones.

Step 5Bake for 7-10 minutes or until golden on top.

Recipe Notes
Milk is for the tops of the scones not in the mixture.
