A very easy and tasty meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 6 Italian pork sausage
  • 1 brown onion
  • 2 garlic clove crushed
  • 880 g canned diced tomato
  • 1 cup vegetable stock (liquid)
  • 1 dried basil leaves *to taste
  • 1 seasoning
  • 400 g pasta
  • 1 parmesan

Method

  • Step 1
    Fry onion and garlic in saucepan until soft.
  • Step 2
    Add tomatoes and stock and bring to the boil.
  • Step 3
    Reduce heat and add sausages, salt, pepper and dried basil.
  • Step 4
    Cook for 20 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Cook pasta in salted boiling water. Drain and return to pot. Add sausage mixture to pasta and stir to combine.
  • Step 6
    Serve in bowls and top with Parmesan cheese.
Recipe Notes

This is great the next day. I enjoy this meal with a glass of red and a Greek salad.
