An easy, beautifully rich chunky beef sauce to go with your favourite pasta.
Ingredients
- 1 kg beef chuck steak, cubed
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 2 onions chopped large
- 3 garlic cloves chopped
- 3 tbs tomato paste
- 1 green capsicums chopped
- 3 celery stalks chopped
- 400 g canned chopped tomato
- 1 cup water
- 1 pinch parsley chopped
Method

Step 1In a large saucepan, fry the onion and garlic in oil.

Step 2Add the tomato paste and meat.

Step 3Cook, stirring continuously, until meat is coated with paste and browned.

Step 4Add remaining ingredients and 1 can of water.

Step 5Simmer slowly for one hour, adding more water if needed.

Step 6Serve over pasta of choice.
