Easy and tasty sauce to serve with fish fingers.
Ingredients
- 1 tbs butter
- 1 onion minced small
- 1 tbs cornflour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbs mayonnaise
- 2 tsp capers minced
- 1 tbs parsley chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
Method

Step 1Heat fish fingers as per packet instructions.

Step 2Melt butter in a pan, add onion and saute until soft.

Step 3Stir in cornflour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk and bring to boil, stirring constantly.

Step 4Simmer until thick and smooth.

Step 5Fold in mayonnaise, capers, parsley, salt and pepper and heat.

Step 6Serve hot tartare sauce over fish fingers.
