Ingredients

  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1 onion minced small
  • 1 tbs cornflour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbs mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp capers minced
  • 1 tbs parsley chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper

Method

  • Step 1
    Heat fish fingers as per packet instructions.
  • Step 2
    Melt butter in a pan, add onion and saute until soft.
  • Step 3
    Stir in cornflour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk and bring to boil, stirring constantly.
  • Step 4
    Simmer until thick and smooth.
  • Step 5
    Fold in mayonnaise, capers, parsley, salt and pepper and heat.
  • Step 6
    Serve hot tartare sauce over fish fingers.
