Great for kids' parties and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 kg beef steak, minced
- 1 onion diced
- 420 g mixed vegetables
- 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup teriyaki marinade
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp spice mix
- 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 6 sheets puff pastry
- 2 tbs Italian mixed herbs *to decorate
Method

Step 1Blend eggs, onion, vegetables, marinade and all spices together, then add to the mince. Mix thoroughly and add enough breadcrumbs to soak up the liquid in the mix.

Step 2Roll out the mixture as thick or as thin as desired.

Step 3Cover sausage mixture with pastry and cut each roll into 4 party sausage rolls, or as desired.

Step 4Place on trays and brush with a little water. Sprinkle each sausage roll with mixed herbs or Italian herbs.

Step 5Cook at 180C for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Recipe Notes
After the sausage rolls have cooled they can be frozen.
If you have any mince mixture leftover, try making a few small meatballs and serve with sweet chilli sauce.
