Ingredients

  • 2 tbs herbed pizza sauce
  • 4 slices ham (deli) shaved
  • 1 cup cheese grated
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg beaten

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line or grease a baking tray.
  • Step 2
    Spread pizza sauce evenly over puff pastry. Evenly place ham and cheese on top.
  • Step 3
    Carefully roll and cut pastry into slices about 2cm wide. Place on baking tray. Using a pastry brush, brush each slice with beaten egg.
  • Step 4
    Cook for 15 minutes or until pastry is golden and cheese has melted.

  • 1 pastry brush
Recipe Notes
These are my sons favourite snack to have after school. The pinwheels are also great to be creative with and mix up the ingredients. Cheese and vegemite, mash potato and left over bolognaise mince, cream cheese and ham, ham cheese and pineapple etc.
