Ingredients

  • 6 bacon rashers
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 6 potatoes large peeled sliced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 tomato sliced

Method

  • Step 1
    Dip potato in flour and layer a bottom of a casserole dish. Followed by a layer of bacon and tomato.
  • Step 2
    Repeat the layers until ingredients are used. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 3
    Pour milk over ingredients, cover and bake at 180C for 35-40 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Uncover for the last 5 minutes, making sure dish does not dry out.

You can vary this recipe by adding mushrooms or changing the ingredients to suit your needs.
