Something a bit different for entertaining at a barbeque. These are called bifteki.
Ingredients
- 500 g lamb mince
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 tbs chives chopped
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 1 tsp chilli minced
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 100 g fetta cubed
Method

Step 1Mix all ingredients, except feta, in a large bowl by hand until combined. Mixture should hold together firmly but should remain a little sticky. Add another egg or breadcrumbs, if required.

Step 2Roll mixture into balls around cubes of feta to slightly larger than golf ball size.

Step 3Chill in the fridge for a few hours.

Step 4Grill on the barbeque until cooked through.
Recipe Notes
Great prepared the night before to give the spices time to infuse. Great served with a simple garlic sauce, baked potatoes and Greek salad.
