This is a different tasting garlic bread using oil, Parmesan and herbs.
Ingredients
- 1 bread roll
- 4 garlic clove crushed
- 150 g parmesan cheese grated
- 100 ml olive oil
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 190C.

Step 2Slice bread on an angle into 3 cm slices.

Step 3Mix together the garlic, cheese, oil, and herbs to make a paste. Spread mixture on both sides of bread, keeping the shape of the bread stick or rolls.

Step 4Wrap in foil and bake, upside down, for about 10 minutes.

Step 5Unwrap top of foil and bake for a further 3 minutes or until crisp.

Recipe Notes
This bread can be placed into the freezer for 4 weeks and can be cooked from frozen state straight into a hot oven for about twenty minutes. I have used oregano and rosemary, fennel, and mixed herbs, depending on what I am having with the garlic bread. Use long bread stick or 6 long rolls and Parmesan cheese or cheddar cheese.
