This yummy tofu can be placed on sandwiches or just eaten by itself.
Ingredients
- 500 g tofu dried firm sliced
- 2 tbs plain flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 2 tbs soy sauce
Method

Step 1Sprinkle tofu with salt and flour, ensuring pieces are well-covered.

Step 2Heat oil in a non stick frypan and fry tofu slices in batches for approximately 3 minutes on each side or until crisp and golden brown.

Step 3Drain on paper towels and keep warm.

Step 4When ready to serve, splash with the soy sauce and lemon juice.

Recipe Notes
Make sure you use firm tofu, dried and sliced into 2cm strips. The softer or silken options will work ok but will need to be deep fried.
