A simple, no-fuss pavlova. Throw everything in a bowl and mix.
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1 1/2 cups caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp Woolworths Cornflour
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 4 tbs boiling water
Method

Step 1Place all ingredients in a small bowl and mix on high speed for 15 minutes.

Step 2Prepare pavlova tray with foil and non-stick baking paper.

Step 3Spread mixture onto prepared tray in a 20cm diameter circle.

Step 4Bake at 180C for 10 minutes.

Step 5Reduce heat to 150C, then bake for a further 45 minutes.

Step 6Top or fill with cream and fruit such as strawberries and passionfruit.
Recipe Notes
I only use caster sugar otherwise the meringue can be a bit gritty.
