Easy Peppermint Chocolate Slice

This recipe is a variation of the Caramello slice. It is very easy to make and delicious. - patko

Ingredients

  • 250 g Arnott's chocolate ripple biscuits
  • 200 g Nestle* peppermint chocolate broken into pieces
  • 1/2 can condensed milk
  • 125 g butter

Method

  • Step 1
    Finely crumb biscuits. Add to a large bowl.
  • Step 2
    Melt together chocolate, condensed milk and butter.
  • Step 3
    Combine chocolate mixture with biscuit crumbs.
  • Step 4
    Line a slice tin with foil, pour mixture into tin and press in firmly.
  • Step 5
    Chill in refrigerator.
  • Step 6
    Can be drizzled with white chocolate, if desired.
Recipe Notes

I used a 395 gram can of condensed milk.

I use a glass bowl to melt the butter, chocolate and milk together.

Start with 1 minute on high, then stir and check regularly.

I haven't tried it yet, but I am sure some liqueur would be nice added to this recipe.
