A quick and easy bread and butter pudding that tastes great.
Ingredients
- 8 slices bread crusts removed
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbs caster sugar
- 300ml cream
- 1/4 cup apricot jam *to taste
- 1 tbs ground cinnamon *to taste
- 40g butter softened
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C.

Step 2Spread the bread with, butter, apricot jam and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Step 3Cut the bread into triangles and arrange in a greased oven-proof dish.

Step 4Whisk together the eggs, sugar and cream.

Step 5Pour over the bread and bake for 25 minutes.

- 1 whisk
Recipe Notes
You can substitute the apricot jam for any jam of your choice. I often use strawberry jam.
